The Caboose

The Caboose is a refurbished Family Lines caboose that is sitting on (off-line) tracks.  The Caboose has a full deck for train viewing, and includes a TV with satellite programs. It will sleep two adults and two children.  The Caboose was moved from Waycross to the property on First Street in Folkston, which also fronts the railroad right-of-way - right along the tracks. The Caboose is just a stone's throw from the Roadmaster's Lodge. We feel like the location is great because it's within walking distance of all of downtown Folkston and the Funnel, just in case your heart desires fellowship with other train watchers.

Our rates are $89 per night.

Your accommodations include a shower with towels and wash cloths; linens; a microwave, a mini-refrigerator and coffee maker; TV with Dish Network; AC and Heat; Wooden deck facing the tracks.

The Caboose can accommodate two adults and two children.

Daily or weekly rentals are available.
